In2011 Take That embarked on the biggest tour the UK and Ireland had everseen, breaking all previous records. The Progress Live Tour wentthrough 29 UK stadiums and played to over 1.8 million people. The doubledisc blu-ray includes the bands entire epic-live show and a bonus discfeaturing exclusive behind the scenes footage, filmed across the 29 UKdates, giving a unique insight into life on the road of one of the mostsuccessful bands in UK history. Named after the three-million-plusselling Progress album that reunited them, the Progress Live 2011 tour,was the first time the band had toured together as a five-piece (GaryBarlow, Howard Donald, Jason Orange, Mark Owen and Robbie Williams)since 1995. The tours huge production included roller skating bees, agiant purple caterpillar, shaolin monks, dancing chess pieces, a massive75 foot wall of water, scaled by acrobatic, gravity defying dancers, ahuge 60 foot robot nick-named OM who moved down through the audiencethroughout the set. The entire set was presided over by the ?big man, amassive head and shoulder structure with lasers for eyes, 150 feetabove, looking out over the crowds on the top of the stage.

Building a structure almost 3 kilometres long in water 65 metres deep was almost the least of the engineering challenges of bridging the Gulf of Corinth in Greece. The construction would cross one of the most active seismic fault lines in Europe. Defying disaster called for solutions inspired by fragrant Indian incense, the ring-pull in a soda can, a tobbogan, a hammock, and some shiny steel chimneys.
