Sega Soccer Slam is much different than standard traditional real-life sports games because of its exaggerated interpretation of soccer and allowing characters to punch one another and also there are no throw ins, no corners, no free kicks and no penalties. Sega Soccer Slam includes an exhibition mode, a challenge mode (PS2,and Xbox version only), a practice mode, a tourney mode, and a quest mode. It also includes two minigames in the Xbox and PS2 version: Hot Potato and Brawl.
